Wooden Chicken Coop / House
This chicken
coop is a must for any chicken keepers out there, whether you are a beginner
or have been keeping them for years. It measures 129cm in width, 100cm in
depth, and 113 cm in height and can accommodate approximately 4 – 6 average size
chickens. This includes the exterior nesting area, measuring 89cm x 27cm x
32cm. The material is Fir wood and has been treated for rotting. It is also
slightly elevated from the ground, a feature that adds to its waterproof design.
On the front is a
door that lowers as a ramp to allow easy access in and out for the chickens.
Above this is a shuttered, meshed window that you can leave open for extra
ventilation or close. Inside are two removable perches, for the chickens to
perch on, and the floor itself can be pulled out like a drawer for easy
cleaning.
The nesting area
has a separate hinged roof with a prop to keep it open, allowing you easy access
to any eggs and for cleaning purposes. The roof itself has a green colour to
its slated panels, matching the main slated roof.
