The Rambo Protector Fly Rug is so much softer than any other fly rug on the market and because it is so soft it moulds closely around your horse to prevent annoying insects coming into contact with the horse's skin.

The Protector comes with a shoulder liner and a detachable neck cover to give you the freedom to choose whatever coverage you want. With Leg Arches, 3 surcingles, 'V' Front closures and a super sized tail flap and fillet strap, with the Rambo Protector you cant go wrong.

This fly rug does it's job and is hugely smart at the same time. It is made of a Polyester/Propylene mix which makes it nice and soft and the rug moulds to the shape of the body giving it the best possible fit.

Before I had this rug, I allways used the Rambo Flybuster Plus. I was very satisfied with that rug, but after a few years I needed a new one. I couldn't buy it anywhere, because Horseware replaced it with the Rambo Fly Protector. I wasn't very happy about that, untill I bought the Rambo Fly Protector. It looks a lot like the Rambo Fly Buster Plus (except for the colour), but it's even better! It has a removable hood now, which is very easy because I don't allways want to use the hood. It's extremely tough so even though my horses bite in the rug a lot, they rug stays intact, unlike most other fly rugs. The new surcingles, legarches and the long tail flap are also improvements. They give the horse more freedom and more protection. The only thing I would change is the neck cover; I would make it longer so it would give the neck more protection when the horse is grazing.

Fantastic rug with the quality you would expect from Horseware. This fits my cob really well and the material is unusual and much tougher than your standard mesh fly rug. I will definitely be buying more for my other horses.
