The Saxon Softmesh Combo fly rug offers excellent protection against flies and bleaching of the coat at an affordable price. The soft polyester mesh outer moulds nicely around the body and and it has an attached neck cover with a nylon lining inside to prevent any rubbed manes. The neck does up with a vertical velcro strip and then a thin velcro strap that loops over at the top. These attachments make the rug have reduced gaping so less chance for the flies and midges to get inside. The front of the rug does up with adjustable chest straps so you can get the best fit to the horse depending on the size of their chest and the shoulder gusset offers extra freedom of movement. This rug has 2 low cross surcingles which help to hold the rug in place and also at the back there are adjustable leg straps which are also removable depending on your preference so you could just have a fillet strap if needed and then there is a tail flap to offer some protection to the bottom and tail.
