About 2 Person Tents

2 berth tents are some of the smallest tents on the market today. Dome tents, Pop-up tents and Tunnel tents are among the favourite designs. Dome tents consist of two flexible fibreglass poles that criss-cross each other and then attach to the corners of the base, giving you that famous dome shape. Tunnel tents consist of a row of the same poles that curve from one side of the base to the other, creating your tunnel. Pop-up tents need more flexibility in their poles. They require no assembly at all. They are twisted and compacted into their holdall, but once released instantly pop up into their shape.

These small tents are a favourite for hikers and backpackers. With their fibreglass poles, they are light in weight and pack up small enough to be attached to any rucksack. Their added weight to the rest of your luggage doesn't hold you back. And because they are simple to put up, even if it suddenly decides to rain, you can have your tent up out and up within minutes, protecting you from the weather and keeping you dry.

When you go hiking, you need to ensure that the equipment you have is of a quality that won't let you down. You need to take note of the hydrostatic head rating, taped seams, and you need to decide whether or not to go for a sewn in ground sheet or a normal one. Both can make a big difference to the success of your trip.

Battling the wilds used to be second nature to people. They knew how to live off the land and survive. Tents have been used for hundreds of years, with records showing the first tent consisted of animal skin draped over a pole. Living rough was a way of life back then, but today things are different. With modern homes equipped with practically everything we need, we have no need for this knowledge, and so have forgotten how to survive in the wilds. Some people, however, still like to pick up a tent and put their survival skills to the test, to see if they can still do it. But most people just prefer to spend their camping time relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity of it all.

Our 2 person tent page is here to provide you with a selection of 2 berth tents that all possess the quality and reliability that everyone wants and that you need when braving the wilds. After all, happy campers deserve nothing less!
